Wire puzzles

My first encounter with logic puzzles happened a long time ago, and it was a truly transformative experience. I was a child and got a wire puzzle, which is essentially a combination of two tangled wires that need to be detangled, although that looks completely impossible. The mere idea of having something detachable in my hands was abstract, but it made me grin and it invoked my curiosity. I played with this wire puzzle for days, before finally managing to solve it.

Wire puzzles are surely a fantastic gift for any child, but they aren't any easier to solve if you're an adult.
